Around The Track: Kevin Harvick Dominates, Jimmie Johnson Finishes, and Kyle Busch is Not Worried

Kevin Harvick dominated the day in Las Vegas. Harvick’s total mastery of all three stages of the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earned him his second win in two consecutive weeks. He accumulated playoff points totaling more than everyone else on the track combined capping off a stellar day.

Kyle Busch says he’s not worried about Harvick’s dominance as it’s still early days, but there is another driver we are worried about — Jimmie Johnson. Johnson finally finished a race without wrecking. However, it was without his crew chief who was ejected.

Aric Almirola asserted that he will be a major contender this season. NASCAR Nation is left pondering the ‘mystery of the rear windshield,’ faulty spec pit guns, Harvick’s domination, and if Almirola has a real chance to win now that he is racing for Stewart-Haas Racing.

Below are links to a few stories about the Pennzoil 400 that are being talked about around NASCAR Nation. Have something to say? Make sure to leave a comment. Sign up for our newsletter and get the latest NASCAR news delivered to you once a week.
