They say, “Never give up,” but as a NASCAR driver, it takes a lot of grit to race week after week only to come up short of a win. This has been the reality for Clint Bowyer for the last 190 races but perseverance paid off for the driver, allowing him to once again drive into victory after five long years.
It’s almost impossible not to be drawn to one of NASCAR’s most magnetic personalities. To say that Bowyer was ecstatic about his victory is somewhat of an understatement. After all, he did promise to get his son a checkered flag earlier in the day. It was thrilling to watch and celebrate his long overdue and hard-earned victory. Bowyer did it his way while drinking-in an abundance of best wishes and beers — neither of which were in short supply.
