It will be back to business as usual this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway when NASCAR resumes their racing schedule after giving drivers the Easter week off for some fun, frolic and family time. NASCAR Nation is abuzz, and the million-dollar question on everyone’s mind as we look forward to the 25th staging of the Monster Energy All-Star Race in May at Charlotte Motor Speedway is, “Who will take the $1 Million prize money?” Winning pays, and it will—especially for a Kevin Harvick fan—if he can outrun bad boy Jimmie Johnson who has four All-Star race wins to his name. The new format for this year’s race has enough twists and turns to compare to a board game, but a million dollars should provide enough motivation to for the ‘boys’ to go out there and give fans a drama-filled, action-packed event.
Retirement may be on the horizon for Danica Patrick, Dale Earnhardt Jr. won’t push his future children to become NASCAR drivers, and The King, Richard Petty, has still not had his fill of NASCAR racing after many decades at the track.
