Who would have thought when a caution flag came out in the middle of green flag pit stop that chaos would follow. When the caution came out Jimmie Johnson, the leader at the time, ran out of fuel and a number of wave arounds were pending. No one understood. Jimmie Johnson thought he had lost the race because he ran out of gas, but he was able to get started, stayed out, and eventually won the Goodys 500 at Martinsville.
At the end of a long 29-lap caution during which NASCAR officials were trying to sort out everything, everyone was asking the question, what’s the problem? What about the computerize scoring and cameras? Why can’t NASCAR quickly figure it out? Did NASCAR get it right?
NASCAR Nation had a tweet fest waiting for NASCAR to sort it all out. It seems that everyone was confused and everyone was confused as to why NASCAR was confused. Get it? Good! It made for a great day on Twitter. Below are a few of the best tweets about the situation.

I am so wondering, what the fan at home understands if no one here understands who is doing what. #sortitout

#NASCAR … Denny Hamlin on radio about lineup: "It's not right. they can't go green. O'Donnell I told you to get this (adult word) right!''

The 48 was stopped on the track, ran out of gas and didn't maintain speed and he's 2nd. I'm so confused. 😳😳😳

NBC and NASCAR official scoring have Kurt Busch in 21st, but NASCAR called out Kurt as on the lead lap. I am so confused.

Frustrated it took as long as it did on lineup. Unique circumstance but Understand frustration from fans and can only work to be quicker

This is a bigger scoring cluster than the All-Star Race, and that's saying a lot.

NASCAR should just red flag this thing, shouldn't it, until it gets it sorted out?

Why let laps click by as this gets sorted out? Why not just use the red flag, figure out the lineup, then go back to green?
— Jordan Bianchi (@Jordan_Bianchi) October 30, 2016
And… yes, they should red flag this thing. #NASCAR
