We hosted our very first Twitter party. We talked Danica Patrick, Kevin Harvick’s win, whether or not Carl Edwards will come back, Dale Jr.’s chances of winning a race, and more. We asked 5 simple questions and NASCAR Nation weighed in.
While there is an overwhelming desire among fans to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. win at least one race and end his final NASCAR season on a high note, many question the likelihood of that happening. Dale Jr. has the most wins at restrictor-plate tracks among the current class of active drivers, so there is a consensus that his best chance may be at one of these tracks. With or without another win or two, one thing is certain, Dale Jr. will be the sweetheart of NASCAR for a very long time.
The lone female on the circuit, Danica Patrick has received more than her fair share of hard hits over the past five seasons leaving her fans and critics to wonder if it’s enough for her to finally throw in the towel. And where will Carl Edwards be next season? Soaking up the action from the stands, or burning up the track behind the wheels of a hot, new ride? Speculation abounds, but time will tell.
Below are links to our top 5 Twitter questions for the week. Every Monday, we will host a #NASCARTalk Twitter party at 12:00 PM PST / 3:00 PM EST. Join us for some NASCAR talk for fans by fans.Have something to say? Make sure to join us for our next Twitter chat and tweet us a comment.

Question 1: Should NASCAR add more road courses?
Q1: Should #NASCAR add more road courses? #NASCARTalk
— All Turns No Brakes (@turnsnobrakes) June 26, 2017
Answers:
Yes, I would like to see @COTA and the 24 hours of Daytona road course added to @Nascar‘s schedule.
— Larry Lee (@lblee58) June 26, 2017
I think if you add more road courses go to an actual road course not a “roval” Road America, Mid Ohio are perfect examples to me https://t.co/FS54zGlfLK
— Kenneth Lee (@FrontRowKenny) June 26, 2017
I like the idea of a true road course and not using a portion of a track they already race on as part of the course. I hope to be proven
— loose lugnut (@Loose_lug_nut) June 26, 2017
Id rather see a dirt track over a road course

Question 2: Kevin Harvick won the NASCAR Home Track race at Sonoma. Should Cup drivers be banned from racing in K&N West races?
Q2: Kevin Harvick won the @NASCARHomeTrack race at Sonoma. Should Cup drivers be banned from racing in #KNWest races? #NASCARTalk
— All Turns No Brakes (@turnsnobrakes) June 26, 2017
Answers:
I think most young drivers would study his lines and try to copy them. It can only help them improve their abilities
— Larry Lee (@lblee58) June 26, 2017
Never heard a driver complain about this. How many more people know about the K&N series this week?
— Moo Truck Racing (@hearfans) June 27, 2017
I think cup drivers should stay in cup and let the up and comers shine and develop their skills
— loose lugnut (@Loose_lug_nut) June 26, 2017
I personally think so it’s kind of frustrating to me since the purpose of the series is to develop younger drivers not veteran seat time https://t.co/FCOsKkhj5J
— Kenneth Lee (@FrontRowKenny) June 26, 2017
That’s disappointing to hear honestly. I mean what’s the gain from it? I get running late model & dirt racing, but within your own series no https://t.co/p50TfcY91B
— Kenneth Lee (@FrontRowKenny) June 26, 2017
Question 3: Does Danica deserve all the crap NASCAR fans give her?
Q3: Does Danica deserve all the crap #NASCAR fans give her? #NASCARTalk
— All Turns No Brakes (@turnsnobrakes) June 26, 2017
Answers:
Everything no. She’s had some misfortune in her career yet I think someone could probably drive the 10 a whole lot better
— Kenneth Lee (@FrontRowKenny) June 26, 2017
Certainly not all of it. People do like to pick on her unnecessarily. But she is in a car that would do much better with another driver.
— Jason Rodgers (@JRodgersSport) June 26, 2017
No, absolutely not. Some people need to get over their jealousy. The incidents she gotten into lately she’s been caught in someone’s mistake
— Larry Lee (@lblee58) June 26, 2017
Nobody deserves crap talk over social media in my opinion, no matter who you are.
— Jay Tate (@nascarnut77) June 26, 2017
After her whining when Aric was being cut out of his car and air lifted to a hospital? She deserves everything she gets.
— BcuzScience (@C96401532) June 26, 2017
I think her going back to Xfinity if anything might be her best bet. I highly doubt she goes back to IndyCar https://t.co/sm7ByEaMVx
— Kenneth Lee (@FrontRowKenny) June 26, 2017
It wouldn’t surprise me. Think she’s fed up of it all and sponsors are losing interest too.
— Jason Rodgers (@JRodgersSport) June 26, 2017
Question 4: Carl Edwards said, “…I haven’t even considered coming back.” Do you think we will see him in a Cup car next year?

Answers:
He’ll be back when #NASCAR gets a new title sponsor. #chasing8
— 7 Time Champ 🔵 (@NotJimmieJ) June 26, 2017
I doubt it unless he gets a top seat. Being said there are a few opening. HMS will have one for sure..possible 2 if KK gets dropped.
— #TheBigDawg (@DawgPoundInc) June 26, 2017
I just think about how tight-lipped Carl was before going to JGR. Everyone knew he was going, but he never let it slip. Could be same here. https://t.co/gMiNqHFObT
— Chad Sheldon (@ChockfulOfChad) June 26, 2017
I think he’s done with racing. I think him losing the championship last yr has alot to do with it. Racing can break your heart sometimes lol
— Jonathan Thiebaud (@Jtbaud24) June 26, 2017
I truly don’t know. I haven’t figured out why he walked away from a JGR ride.
— Larry Lee (@lblee58) June 26, 2017
No, not next yr. But I think a couple years down the road he will
— Garry Briggs (@Garryy12) June 26, 2017
For a guy who doesn’t even know who’s leading in the points, I couldn’t see it happening
— Kenneth Lee (@FrontRowKenny) June 26, 2017
No! People needa let it go. https://t.co/xdgZpjiBvi

Answers:
Best bullet in the chamber is this weekend https://t.co/Q45qGqCbQH
— Panther Man (@DonDelarente) June 26, 2017
If Dale wins it will be now or Dega. Don’t see him winning anywhere else.
— #TheBigDawg (@DawgPoundInc) June 26, 2017
I believe he will, he’s getting his mojo back. Sonoma P6 tells me that!!
— cthornbrugh (@Cthornbrugh88) June 26, 2017
Though I would love for him go out with a win, I don’t have high hopes he will do so. Tons of respects for him none the less 👍👍
— Larry Lee (@lblee58) June 26, 2017
I think he has a shot somewhere maybe Daytona, Pocono or Dega’ not sure where else honestly
— Kenneth Lee (@FrontRowKenny) June 26, 2017
No. Driving too conservative to win. Just getting through the season. Don’t want to get hurt again. https://t.co/spm4kWhsxw
