The 7x champion proved his mettle in the scorching heat by enduring a bout of painful dehydration to capture his seventh victory at the location. It seems Dale Jr. has regained his spark as the veteran driver blazed a trail of fire in the No.88, and he’s cool with his first top-five finish of the season. Ryan Blaney achieved another milestone, but his final pit stop robbed him of the chance of a possible victory, Kyle Larson maintains his lead in the point standings, and Team Penske continued to show consistency with a strong showing in Texas.
