For only the eighth time in its brief history, the NASCAR Hall of Fame celebrated a new class of legends in Charlotte, North Carolina. This year, the HOF bestowed the honor of Hall of Famer on three owners and two drivers, bringing the total number of inductees in the NASCAR Hall of Fame to 40. The five newest Inductees to receive this accolade and claim their spot as ‘Forever Legends’ for their accomplishments and contributions to the sport were: Rick Hendrick, Richard Childress, Mark Martin, Benny Parsons and Raymond Parks.
