Talk Around The Track: Elliott Is Mad, Hamlin Apologizes, and Harvick Says It’s Time To Get Physical

Kyle Busch took the checkered flag at Martinsville. Unfortunately, all the post-race talk was about how Denny Hamlin wrecked Chase Elliott who was in front of the field and possibly heading towards his first NASCAR Cup winner ever with three laps to go. After “intentionally” wrecking Elliott, Hamlin was also involved in some late carnage that took out a bunch of other drivers. We won’t debate whether or not Hamlin was justified in what he did, but we will agree with his statement that, ‘It was just a mess in the end.’ Who says racing at short tracks isn’t exciting?
