Joey Logano’s Toyota Owners 400 victory caused quite a stir over the weekend at Richmond International Speedway. It seemed as if Brad Keselowski would grab his third checkered flag of the season, but a smart pitting strategy employed by the No. 22 team paid off and the dark horse charged his way to victory lane.
A blind mistake by Jimmie Johnson slammed Dale Jr. into the wall and Junior Nation was not amused. They quickly took to Twitter for a verbal onslaught on Jimmie for wrecking their beloved driver. ‘Rowdy’ is resentful after a commitment cone violation costs him a chance at the Richmond win, Ricky Stenhouse gets a back to back top 10 finish, and Denny Hamlin salvages the day for Joe Gibbs Racing with a third-place finish.
