The Kobalt 400 took place in Las Vegas over the weekend, and apart from the monotonous roar of the Monster engines on the track, it seemed like a ‘normal,’ almost boring race devoid of drama until the last lap when Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22, bumped the rear of Kyle Busch’s car and literally sent him to the pits for a 22nd place finish.
Whoever thought that the race would end incident-free, and with a limited amount of drama, had another guess coming as Kyle Busch took matters into his own hands and attempted to ‘straighten out’ Joey on pit road. We don’t need to explain what happened next as the headlines scream it all.
Martin Truex Jr. finally lands on the right side of luck in Las Vegas, Kevin Harvick crashes out of the race early and blasts NASCAR over the response time of the safety team, Brad Keselowski loses the win, but still has a lot to be proud of and the Kyle Busch – Joey Logano brawl provided something to talk about.
