NASCAR Nation is one of the most vocal fan bases in all sports. This week during out “NASCAR Talk,” we kept it short and only asked two questions. Of course, fans had a lot to say. The debut raged whether or not Jimmie Johnson still had it and who is next in line to hit Victory Lane for Stewart-Haas Racing.
Below are links to our top Twitter questions this week and also a few responses. Every Monday, we will host a #NASCARTalk Twitter party at 12:00 PM PST / 3:00 PM EST. Join us for some NASCAR talk. Have something to say? We would love to hear from you! Join the conversation on our next Twitter chat and tweet us a comment.

Question 1: Clint Bowyer finished P3 at @amsupdates and Aric Almirola “almost” won the #Daytona500. Which Stewart-Haas driver will win a race first this season? Why? #NASCARTalk

Answers:
A1: Probably Bowyer. Putting it simply. He has more talent than Almorola. He's done much more in about the same quality equipment than Almorola has.

A1: I honestly see Almirol getting a win real soon! He’s shown the talent that he has and how much fire is inside of him to get a win this season!
— Tiffany (@tiffanyshandell) February 26, 2018
A1: I think Clint Bowyer. He seems determined to get back to victory lane after struggling for so many years. He's finally ready to win with SHR. Almirola should get at least one victory this season. #NASCAR

A1: Bowyer will imo. He was somewhat closer to getting a chance to win last year. But don't sleep on Almirola either. I can see Aric picking up a win or two this season. #NASCARTalk

I think it will be Kurt. I think he has been pretty solid since he joined this team in 2014. And more importantly, his attitude has changed now that he is in a stable relationship
— ryan goodrum (@ryan_goodrum) February 27, 2018
A1: I say it HAS to be Bowyer. Aric is new to the ride & therefore that gives him an adjustment period. It's time for Bowyer to put up some stout numbers. #NASCARTalk

A1: I feel like Bowyer or Kurt Busch will get a win first. Almirola had a good start for sure at Daytona and this past weekend. However I feel like the the two vets will get one.
— Kenneth W Lee Jr. (@FrontRowKenny) February 26, 2018
A1: I think Almirola will get a win 1st. I think it's great he's getting to showcase his talent in good equipment.
— Jonathan Thiebaud (@Jtbaud249) February 27, 2018
A1: Kevin Harvick….. Bowyer if they keep giving him good cars like yesterday.
— Charlie Bowles (@CharlieBowles6) February 26, 2018
Question 2: Jimmie Johnson can’t get right. He ended last season on a bad note and this season has started badly as well. Will he bounce back? Can he still win? What do you think is the problem? #NASCARTalk
Q2: Jimmie Johnson can't get right. He ended last season on a bad note and this season has started badly as well. Will he bounce back? Can he still win? What do you think is the problem? #NASCARTalk

Answers:
A2: The seven-time champ has spoken. I think he'll bounce back and win before the year ends. Never count out the 48.https://t.co/dHbaA77cS2#NASCAR

F.E.A.R. has two meanings…
Forget Everything And Run
OR
Face Everything And Rise
I’m ready to rise.
— Jimmie Johnson (@JimmieJohnson) February 26, 2018
I think JJ can & will win races, but unfortunately #8 isn't in the cards. With a team filled with a lot of inexperience it's going to be a tough year IMO
— ryan goodrum (@ryan_goodrum) February 27, 2018
A2: Like me & @itsrenegarcia say "Can't ever count out Mr.7x" I think the same thing happens every year with HMS. We worry early in the season and then by summer they get it together. I wouldn't worry to much that team just has to dial in with the new car.
— Kenneth W Lee Jr. (@FrontRowKenny) February 26, 2018
A2: Pretty much like what @FrontRowKenny said, Jimmie and HMS tend to struggle in the beginning of the season but they eventually get better in the summer. So yes, 7-time will get a win.
— Alex 🏁🏎 (@AlexD77_) February 26, 2018
A2: Jimmie is obviously super talented I just think he’s in a bad funk right now! But one thing I’ve learned about him is to never count him out! I think he might struggle the first part of this season but he’ll get it all figured out and start dominating!
— Tiffany (@tiffanyshandell) February 26, 2018
A2: He'll be fine. Chevy teams struggled in general last season, and so far this year. The teams just need to figure out how to make the new cars fast. Once that happens. Jimmie Johnson, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and all the other talented Chevy drivers will bounce back.
— #NASCARLovingHiveling (@TheRobster2014) February 26, 2018
A2: he ain't done yes he's in his 40's now but he ain't done yet, that man can still win and try and get that 8th title. just had serious bad luck not only most of last year but first two weeks of 2018.
— Patrick R. Dron, Martin and Ryan Truex fan (@patrickdron78) February 26, 2018
I think he can still win, after all has one of the best CC's in the game. But, the main issue is the other teams have caught up and succeeded, combined with HMS being inconsistent the last year or so.
— Brent Jones (@jonesbrent570) February 26, 2018
A2: I think JJ is fine. They are just off on the cars right now. Learning curve on the camaros.
— Charlie Bowles (@CharlieBowles6) February 26, 2018
He hasn't been right since the wreck. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer to come back. I'm rooting for him. I've always liked JJ
— avery duck (@specialkitty2me) February 26, 2018
A2: Jimmie always does this. he will get some momentum soon. I don’t want him too but JJ will be winning again soon
— Rowdy Ocho #18n18 (@OchoRowdy) February 26, 2018
A2 I'm not sure I think the problem this yr is is they're still trying to get a handle on the new Camaro. But I think not being able to slide the car at higher speeds is hurting him.
