We asked the questions, and we got answers. When Erik Jones won the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway for his first NASCAR Cup career win, it raised the bar for the other young drivers that haven’t won.

Question 1: Let’s talk about the wreck-fest that was the #CokeZeroSugar400. Was it a good race? Should Ricky Stenhouse Jr. get most of the blame for the excessive accidents? Thoughts? #NASCARTalk

A1: yes it was a good race. 2-wide, 3-wide racing. Who’s going to survive the wrecks, the 78 going from almost losing the draft to the front by himself, just incredible. As for the 17, he took the blame. On to the next race

A1: good race, chaos because these plate races turn into wreckfests late in these races. Stenhouse just didn't use his head and decided only way to win was take most of the field out.

A1: I was beginning to wonder if there was one more yellow, that could had potentially left 10 cars to try and win it? RSJ was still on the track and another bad move and he’d probably get position back!? Then the world would have burned…

A1: it was Sh!t Show. Not sure they should refer to it as racing.

A1 I don't have a lot of nice things to say about that wreckfest. I don't mind seeing some carnage at Daytona, but that race was garbage. I'm looking at you Ricky, and I'm even glancing at my dude Bubba a little bit. #NASCARTalk

A2: @Daniel_SuarezG he’s been very competitive and consistent
— Larry Lee (@lblee58) July 9, 2018
A2: I think Suarez is due for a win. Joe Gibbs made it quite clear that Danny is aware of the importance of winning this year let alone making the playoffs. I think that should fire him up a bit moving forward.
— Kenneth W Lee Jr. (@FrontRowKenny) July 9, 2018
A2: I think William Byron will get his first win before teammate Chase Elliott. Like his seasons in Trucks/Xfinity, Byron always took his time to learn, then takes off with the skills he learns. He will prove that he didn't need another season in Xfinity. #NASCAR

A2: IMO It has to be between Chase Elliott & Daniel Suarez. Elliott I think has more experience But right now Suarez has better Equipment. So I wil go with Suarez.

I'm thinking Chase Elliot. He keeps improving and maturing. Even though the Chevrolet's aren't great this year, he has been able to dig deep and find something.

Question 3: A fan on @NASCARonReddit asks, “Is anyone else extremely bothered by the NASCAR Salutes campaign advertisement?” He goes on to state “the focus has shifted from honoring the military…versus becoming a marketing tool… What do you think? #NASCARTalk

The typical #NASCAR fan only wears a coat and tie for two types of occasion. One type is typically awesom. The other usually sucks a lot. It would be cool if they dressed a little more casual. As far as salutes goes, we just don’t want to end up with the NFL’s mess.

As a veteran, it doesn’t bother me at all. I think @Nascar should continue.
Also a a veteran and an supporter of the US Constitution I never had an issues with the NFL players taking a knee during the National Anthem as it’s their Constitutionally protected right to do so.— Larry Lee (@lblee58) July 9, 2018
A campaign to stay connected with its culture base. Plus, this one was the 4th so its expected? I don’t see it as overboard lately but does need to be balanced as some will start to see it as uber-something. I think ties and jackets are worse in the booth. #GetALeTarteShirt

A4 It smacks of plastic patriotism to me. #NASCARTalk

I have no issue with the Campaign, and at times it does seem like a marketing tool but I would rather have to much than to little. Just my 2 cents.
