Fans provided the questions and answers during our special All-Star #NASCARTalk. We discussed Daniel Suarez’s solid performance during the All-Star Race. Why there is such a separation between fans who liked the All-Star Race package versus those who hated it. There was a lot of talk about the lack of competitiveness this year from the Chevrolets. Fans also shared their favorite experiences at a race track.

TBH, I was away all weekend & have not watched the All Star Race. However, Suarez is getting his bearings in the Cup Series. He's almost always running at the end. #NASCARTalk

A1 We'll be seeing Suarez in victory lane this season, and it very well could be Charlotte. He's got the talent. He's got the equipment. He's got the team. All he needs is luck. #NASCARTalk

A: maybe everything has to go right for 400 laps/600 miles divided in 4 stages.

No
— SUZANNE SWAIN (@swains7337) May 22, 2018
A1: absolutely. He does a great job taking care of his car, and is still one of the most underrated drivers out there. He showed a lot of people that he can run with the front runners

I don't think so. The chevy can be strong, Kyle Larson for example. I think the teams need to figure it out.
— Kirk English (@positivejoe14) May 21, 2018
I think Chevy has fallen behind the game in terms of being a united team like Ford and Toyota has done in the last 3 years… Whatever Larson has isn't being passed thru the other Chevy garages
— Steve Rollins (@DonDelarente) May 21, 2018
I'm a Chevy fan, but no. They'll figure it out… it isn't good for any one manufacturer or team to dominate for too long. Chevy was on top for years, and will get back on top. It's all cyclical. Wheel will keep turning.
— perfectfaceforradio (@perfface4radio) May 22, 2018
A2: As a team Chevy fan No. they have to get to work and figure it out!
— Mick Rose 🇺🇸 (@GoDucks42_mick) May 22, 2018
I'm a Chevy guy and hell no Chevy as a brand needs to come together under one roof and find the speed cause only Larson has speed every week I believe that's why #SHR left and went to Ford

I think more people secretly liked it than will admit, I was expecting worse and pleasantly surprised with the race. I mentioned it last week on the show, I’m not a big all star fan in any sport. But it was worth the watch!
— LappedTrafficPodcast (@lappedtrafficpc) May 22, 2018
Who hated it? The first race was killer! Best race of the year next to the Las Vegas Truck race. Stop caring what the drivers think-that’s what got us here in the first place.
— Kevin (@KevinJ816) May 22, 2018
I care what the drivers think, but when the racing is good it tends to either be a bit more dangerous or give them less options. It matter much more what the fans thinks! Great racing speaks for itself.
— Bill Steinbach III (@bill_steinie3) May 22, 2018
Because some people don't know what they like!
— Linda Jenks (@Lindajjcleaner) May 21, 2018
If you can figure out Nascar fans I would love to know

Question 4: @KobeLambeth said, “It looked obvious that Joey Logano retaliated against Kyle Larson. Larson owned up to the mistake while Logano wouldn’t admit to retaliating. Do you respect a driver who “owns it” verse one who “beats around the bush?” Yes, no, thoughts? #NASCARTalk

Absolutely, but just because you own it doesn’t mean there won’t be a 💩 storm heading your way
— ryan goodrum (@ryan_goodrum) May 21, 2018
Ditto. My thoughts exactly. #NASCARTalk
— Graydon Bunn 🇨🇦 (@SmoothOper88or) May 21, 2018
Did you ever hear Sr, say that he wrecked someone? What about Foyt? Racers are not there to make friends or care what everyone else thinks. Drivers want to make friends and "own up". Real racers don't care and are usually more successful!
— Bill Steinbach III (@bill_steinie3) May 21, 2018
A4: I do respect drivers who own up to messing up or doing something "out of character" compared to drivers who don't openly admit they took someone out or whatever.
— Patrick R. Dron, Martin and Ryan Truex fan (@patrickdron78) May 21, 2018
I believe that's why people dnt like Logano because he never man up when he does anything

We've been to Cup races, but some of our best trips to #nascar races are #NASCARPintys races. Last year's Pintys Fall Brawl at reborn & rebranded @JukasaMotor was awesome. Took my 60 y.o. uncle to his 1st race. Spent some time w the team we pull for most. @22RacingTeam pic.twitter.com/WrjJiYbmyo

2012 Tire Test at @poconoraceway. It was April in PA, so obviously it snowed. I must have waited it out for a couple of hours, and the President of Pocono, @bigdalsky came up in the stands to talk with us! Said Pocono had the best fans in NASCAR, and that was so cool.

Kevin Harvick winning Bristol two years ago. Love the Bristol track and watching the trucks come in!
— SUZANNE SWAIN (@swains7337) May 22, 2018
Just being at a race track is a great experience. Mainly hearing those engines roaring, followed by the smells and finally the eye catching colors. Best kind of sensory overload
— Andrew (@amar71168) May 21, 2018
2007 Darlington race. Only race I saw Gordon win in person. Although I’m a chase fan, the 2017 martinsville fall race was up there too. Most electric crowd ive ever been apart of at a race.

2007 august Michigan race. Got Kurt Busch's autograph, wanted it so badly I woke up before the tram, still came to his trailer in the rain. Then had to wait until Tuesday to watch him win. Awesome weekend

Michigan.
Kentucky is one groove.. Texas is one groove, so those 2 I dont think can sustain side by side racing I dont care how long they drag tires on the second groove.
Fontana is good as is, homestead is good as is. Tough to say until we see it.
— Danny Swanson (@DannySwanson90) May 22, 2018
None!
— Robert Aldag (@RobertAldag) May 22, 2018
I don’t think so. There’s something about doctoring a race track to make the racing better that doesn’t sit right with me.
— The Loose Lugs Podcast (@LugsPodcast) May 22, 2018
Still think The Brickyard. It can be a real snoozefest. Imagine running side by side into one of those corners

A7: for the most part the fans that I chat with are mostly positive and would love for the sport to expand. But everyone will have those days that are negative.
— Mick Rose 🇺🇸 (@GoDucks42_mick) May 22, 2018
Lol! Well…. some of us like to stir the pot no matter what. But, the interaction with other fans and drivers, opinions aside, it has made it more accessible to those of us that love #NASCAR
— Kirk English (@positivejoe14) May 22, 2018
I say yes, but at same time, I'm grateful for the interactions I've had with my #NASCAR heroes. There's too much negativity in the world period. Nevermind just #NASCAR. In the case of social media, negative opinions aren't always majority opinion. But negativity speaks loudly. 👎
